Monster Soup, the first ever mixed media piece of art created by 92 Plates. I am on a journey trying to find my style when it comes to my art. I am currently experimenting with different methods and mediums. I have jumped into drawing and created some pieces which are originally drawn and then digitised, however, I have always wanted to incorporate my love for photography and the blend for art together, which my previous drawing pieces had not done.

I took this piece, which was an old print of that I had done as a test print and decided to draw on it, I wanted it to show a hand holding the can, nothing too complicated to get started. I originally drew it the right way up, with the can facing the right way, then realised that the angle of the fingers and the thumb looked strange, so, flipped it upside down and viola the piece started to come alive.

Getting the acrylic paints out to try painting on top of a photography print and this is the result of the first try. So here you go, my first ever original that I have created.
